Are you interested in some extras and info about Soma? Well, I tried to gather
some nice stuff and information for you. I hope this section can grow within

 Soma
Soma (the protagonist of CastleVania: Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of
Sorrow) is a hot and oblivious 19 year old, who happens to be Dracula's
reincarnation on 2035/2036. He is a high school exchange student living in Japan.
At least this is what the english version of the game says, check
here for some corrections in the translation.
By coincidence, he is named like the drug from AldousHuxley "A Brave
New World" book. That drug was used, in a futurist and fictional world
to make people happy and unaware of the misery in which they live. I guess this
applies to Soma's personality as well. And "Cruz" is Spanish for "cross".
When spelled in Japanese (kurusu), it means "crucifix".
. basics in Aria of Sorrow .
In Aria of Sorrow, he lives normally until he goes with his friend to watch
the solar eclipse that frees Castlevania, trapping them both inside.
In order to rescue his friend and escape from the cursed castle, Soma has to
roam around the haunted places and fight a lot of monsters and demons. It is
then when he discovers his ability to absorb and use the souls from the monsters,
which grant him amazing powers, that he will need if he wants to leave in time.

In Dawn of Sorrow (one year later), there is a cult that tries to kill him
in order to resurrect Dracula again by inheriting his powers onto some "Dracula
candidates", but he manages to defeat them.
This time what made him turn evil in the past is about to happen again, once
he finds out his beloved friend Mina Hakuba is killed. But luckily, he learns
that the Mina that was killed was just a doppelganger.
But he still has the power to command, which makes him Dracula's heir. It's
up to Soma to choose if he wants to be the Dark Lord or not.

Some pictures I've found around the web since AoS came out and I've been
saving them in my HDDs. I've missed some, and some sources. Although I'm pretty
sure that most of these come from popular sites such as Vampire Killer, CV Dungeon
and Mr.P's CV Realm, I just gathered and resized some here for you.
